Our curriculum is based on the principles, strands and goals of Te Whāriki - the Early Childhood Curriculum. At the same time, our free play approach lets children develop their individual interests too.
Your child’s learning record
Every child’s journey with us is recorded in a portfolio that documents their learning through narrative learning assessment, artwork and photo records.
We consider these portfolios to be a shared record between home and preschool, and we encourage your input around aspirations for your child’s learning and development.
Celebrating our culture
As a country with a unique multicultural heritage, we feel it is important to celebrate cultural differences and ensure each child’s learning experiences reflect awareness of their own culture, as well as others. With this in mind, we aim to provide an environment where everyone feels welcome and cultural diversity is embraced.
